Hi all,

My Dad had a weekend test-drive of a new Audi RS4 a couple of months back, and I distinctly remember the car having manually-operated windows in the rear. Someone has suggested to me that this car must have been a mis-build model, as Audi quote the car as having 'leccy windows in the back.

A few weeks later my Dad ordered a brand-new RS4 Avant, so I'm wondering whether to expect the car to have electric windows in the back or not?

Does anyone have any idea why the car we drove had manual windows in the rear?

Very strange one that. I've just received delivery of mine and its got elec windows all round. Sounds like it might have been a pre-production car for the press office or something.

If you go to www.audi.co.uk and start to spec up your RS4, you will eventually come to a page on the interior spec that clearly shows electric rear windows as standard equipment.

I just tried this before posting to avoid egg / face interface.

Yes someone else pointed out earlier that the car is supposed to come with 'leccy windows all round.

Which makes me wonder why the hell our demo car didn't have them, because they definately weren't present?!
