Ibiza Aerial

We have a 98 Ibiza, and I have a question regarding the aerial.
Does it unscrew?
I took the car to the carwash at the weekend, but couldn't get teh aerial off not sure if its corroded on, or if it is safe to just go in as it is, seems very flexible.

Any help appreciated

It's an anti theft jobby, it does come off though

I think the more conservative approach is described in Haynes and involves removing the headlining.

possibly, you'll just have to hand wash it instead of me taking it to the carwash

cheers for that, think I might need some liberal WD40 application first as it doesn't budge at the moment
