MK4 Golf GT TDi Electrical Problems
Discussion
After surviving the floods and torrential rain without the slightest of stutters I went out shopping in the Golf on Saturday.
Everything was fine when I put the shopping in the back of the car. I drove it home. Got out. Hit the lock button on the key fob - nothing.
Thought it was strange the keyfob would just die without any warning. Tried the spare and again nothing.
Later that night I went out to the car and found the interior lights/courtesy lights arent working anywhere inside/glovebox/doorcards/boot.
Turns out the electric mirrors and windows are also out.
Are these all fed by one main fuse in the master distribution block? Is this a common issue - multiple systems failing at once or should I be worried?
