The AUX port is just a line in socket.
The wire you need is basically a headphone plug on each end of a bit of wire. 3.5mm jack plug, I think.
I got mine for like £2 from B&Q.
I have to say tho, that I found it to be an entirely unsatisfactory solution. Skipping tracks etc would require you to use the iPod controls. I use a CD full of MP3s as preference as my MP3 is not an iPod - you have the luxury of using the proper iPod integration and I'd suggest you investigate that.
