2002 A4 V6 - advice please

Hi All

Looking at an 02 model A4 with the 2.4 V6, tiptronic. Anything specific to look out for? Any advice appreciated as I'm new to Audis.

Those 2.4s are known for heavy oil consumption so look for smoke out of the exhaust when accelerating and ask the previous owner's experience if you can.

It's probably a multitronic gearbox (cvt) with tiptronic function so make sure drive and reverse engage cleanly and that kickdown works OK and that the car doesn't stall when pulling to a stop.
