Audi Coupe Quattro - changing differential oil.
Discussion
Recently serviced my car, wanted to replace gearbox and diff oil.
Could I get the differential drain plug undone? No chance, tried a ratchet, breaker bar, breaker bar with scaffolding pole for extra leverage! Bloody thing would NOT budge.
More worringly I removed the fill up plug and dipped my finger in to see how much / quality of oil in the diff and it was very sticky and cloudy! I dont think it has been changed in a while, so I am now even more anxious to get it changed!
Anyone had similar problems? Any suggestions for removing the drain plug? I dont really want to have it drilled out unless absolutely necessary. I was thinking perhaps using an oxy torch to heat the casing which may help relase the plug.
Thanks for any advice that may be forthcoming!

Are you talking about the Haldex oil & filter ?
If so, you have the special tool ?

If I understand correctly he's talking about a proper quattro, not a haldex equipped car.
Yep, me getting the wrong end of the stick - wouldn't be the first time !
