Second hand engines?

Can anyone point me in the direction of an Audi breaker? My brother's 02-reg A6 2.5 V6 diesel has gone pop, and the dealer says it will probably need a replacement engine. My brother is not very mechanically minded so he can't really tell me exactly what the the dealer (Audi main agent) told him, but the gist of it was that something broke, fell in the cylinder, and it's not good news. It's done 90-odd thousand miles. A second hand engine would most likely be cheaper then rebuilding.

Are there any second-hand Audi parts dealers, or a decent specialist, somewhere within reach of Swindon?

Edited to add that they have an A4 2.5 Tdi in for breaking at the moment - not sure how similar the engines are though.
