..in near name and shame.
the main dealer close to me (see profile:-not a shower ), called (Barts friend -Simpsons) Audi.
shocking, just shocking.
Audi A6 Allroad, first service booked in, requested courtesy car, arrived, none availble.
picked up car only to see 50% of polish still on car (well least they tried)
Minor fault with parking sensors + lack of adaptor for towhitch electrics.
Booked in under warranty, got a courtesy car yikes , return to Audi, to have the mechanic say: "your parking sensor is broke"
me: "yes thats why we brought it in"
monkey: "ahh well we won't have the parts for another 8 weeks, oh and the adapter is £35 yikes"
fuming i booked it in again and paid £35 for the electric adapter.
took it on the agreed date, no courtesy car avaible again, also they ordered wrong paint and wrong part for parking sensor.
booking in again, to finally have it fixed, colour of sensor now slightly different, but have given up.
Also they managed to peel the lacquer off the alloy wheel while valeting it.

phoned to complain, and was asked to bring it in.
service manager says it must have happened because you kerbed it....
ranting after much shouting and feet stomping he agrees to fix it.
courtesy car will be availble....
only to find this morning it wasn't.

Iceing and cake comes to mind.

PLEASE AVOID!!!!!

Nothing new there then. Haven't found an Audi dealership yet that I could recommend. Can't say the same for the independants who have been excellent. Find yourself a good specialist and don't look back!

I have come across an audi specialist (they are independant) that are very good, not sure if I can plug them though?

[devil's advocate]At least they agreed to fix it.[/devil's advocate]

I reckon plenty of dealers would have stuck it out.

saw the post title and thought, I wonder if it's the same dealer that gave me shocking service last yeat

and, what a surprise, IT WAS

agree they are utter crap....I ended up throwing the keys to the courtesy car at the service manager and demanding that he just gave me my bloody car back after being messed around no end

Can I have a go?

Gilders in Sheffield (Ecclesall Rd) were really good when my wife bought a Polo from them

(Don't ask what they were like when they lost my spare key)

They probably kerbed it on the very high kerbs on the road to the dealership...

I went to look at a car there a year or two ago, and the forecourt was so overrun they were just putting cars on the road parking with no care or concern for them...

cant say i was impressed.

looks like high pressure pulling the paint off IMHO.
totally useless and puts you off owning, what is, a fab car.
never mind, father doesn't mind i fight his battles for him
