Best place to buy new Mk5 Golf GTI??

Hi fellas.
My old banger Mondeo has broken down. I fancy a Golf GTI. Where is the best place to source a cheap one? e.g. Motorprovider in Sheffield? I fancy a white one, but importers such as Motorprovider don't stock white ones. Any other suppliers? Or would you go to a main dealer?

Places like Motorpoint sell imports for 2-3k below UK list price so you could save a fair bit. But then try p/exing at a VAG garage. If you don't plan to sell for many years then maybe imports are a good thing (I know they're all imports really). Also check and see if there is a difference in insurance costs.

The Golf forums often have talk of minor spec difference, most recently no rear speakers in Dutch cars (I think). Yes, even the GTI.

We ordered a new car from a UK dealer as 'er indoors wanted Xenons and heated seats. The Xenons are well worth it.

Thank you , that is much appreciated. I have found a nice 5 door import for 19 grand which is very tempting. I may go with it, I need to think about it now.
