Right, second post.. and already I have beef.

I mean, it's time to rant i fear, THOUGH i do indeed have an Audi also, it's a completely different story to my Classic Bug.. to group them simply isn't on!!

Yes yes, taking into consideration they are one big happy family now.

Okies, rant closed, and so now to the next all important question..who has a classic baby..???

'classic baby'...

...very subject- I think my mk2 GTI is a 'classic baby' (20 years old after all)- though I'm sure some of the aircooled crowd would disagree...

However if there was to be an 'aircooled' forum it should extend to aircooled 911's as well as bugs, campers, ghia's, variants, fastbacks etc...

Classic bugs .. are there any origional ones left ? Most are either 90% filler or new pannels these days

How about a "Supposed to be a classic, but the origional one rotted, and now has been replaced with pattern parts" forum ?

I'll get my coat ! hehe paperbag

Oii!! You get your coat.. I'll call the Taxi

Course theres always the option to keep it 'Ratted' this way rust is a good thang!

Though i think you'll find most go out of their way to keep it as original as poss, I could do with a 'LITTLE' (Holding loosely) welding done on 'Seb' (yup, he has a name damnit) including the odd panel.. ho hum.. the joys of the classic

Ratlook here we comelaugh

Sorry, only mean't to antagonise.

I actually quite like theolder dubs ... Wanted a new Microbus but the VW went and decided not to put it into production .

I have a neighbour who likes his "more mature" VW's. when his mates pop around they all look kinda cool on his drive

I have been a VW enrthusiast for 20+ years but would rather they be refered to as VW's or Volkswagens rather than 'Dubs if you are starting a new forum.

I think you might be safe as the chance of getting a forum designated could be slim, and honest guv, it was merely a lil rant.

Na, they remind me of my old Morris Minor, and also bring back memorys of spartian motoring. I'll keep my Nice VW Golf TDI130 for the commutw, and the Sharan Sport TDI for family days out.

As they say ... "Nice to look at, Wouldnt want to drive one" hehe

I am aware of that there site thank you

.. but Mr.V.. a Sharan?scratchchin

You need to take Seb for a spin, might not be the long distance runner, THOUGH he did manage the trip to 'Run to the Sun', a mere 7 hrsyikes.. but most enjoyable!!

The Audi is my daily hack.. much as it grates me at times, esp when you see another out and about, the waving never gets QUITE the same response?driving
