Hi All,

Picking up my 2003 A6 TDI 130 multitronic on Wednesday.

I just wanted to know who the authority is on TDI chiping?

Am I am to chip a multitronic ?

I don't think a box thingy is the route I want to take....any suggestions welcomed.

Cheers

Does anyone know if the multitronic's have a lower torque level than the manuals?

I have sampled a few and they don't give you a push in the back.......but the speedo swings around?

Is it just the 130 engine that can be tuned with any effect? How about the 110bhp and 115bhp engines?

Edited to add: Just checked on Superchips website and they can chip this car. Apparently they can get 137bhp and 303Nm of torque out of it for circa £500. Will this sort of power upgrade make a realistic difference to the performance of the vehicle? (the vehicle in question being the 110bhp version of the Audi A4 Avant 1.9 TDi)
