Changing a light bulb

The front indicator lens on my S4 seems to have blown. I was planning on a trip to buy a new bulb tomorrow and fit it myself. The handbook says "bulbs should be changed by a qualified mechanic" and has a warning re fatal consequences of mis-handling the xenon gas discharge bulbs! Is this just Audi covering their backs or should I really take it all the way to a dealer to change just an indicator bulb?!

Sorted it now. Five minute job once I'd figured out what to do!
