Don't know if anyone on here can help me with this one. I bought a 2002 3.0 A4 Cabriolet in April and I've been disappointed with the performance. It feels as though the car is being over-fueled when I really hoof it, to the point that backing off the accelerator seems to speed the thing up. Although the car is under Audi Warranty, I'm more inclined to find a specialist tuner in the Manchester area.

Anyone had anything similar, or be able to recommend a Manchester / North West Audi tuner ?

It's not a black 3.0 quattro sport cabrio is it?? irked
The performance on my A4 felt similar to that described... so much so that I gave up and sold it to a garage up in Ayr in March. It really felt lethargic... now I know the quattro drivetrain and the extra bracing for the roof removal add a LOT of weight.. but it really should have felt swifter than it was...
Anyway, I hope you manage to get to the root of the problem and get it sorted.
All the best!

I tested a 3.0 quattro and found it to be much more sluggish then the Non quattro version,(which I eventually bought) the extra weight and losses of the drivetrain just seem too much.

Thanks for your replies. Quite a few people I've spoken to have said that the cabs are much heavier and slower than the saloons. Mines a non quattro version - but I've never driven any other 3.0 A4 of whatever persuasion to compare it to. I probably wouldn't consider it too odd, if it wasn't for the fact that it feels like Audi bolted the throttle on the wrong way round

I'll keep hunting for some tuners. Thanks again your observations.
