Hi Guys,

We are thinking of buying a R32 today, this car had a list price of 42,000 euro. (It has every option under the sun) Un specified price in germany is 35k euro. Basically my friend is offering it to me for 30k euro (it now has 13,000 km) it is in superb condition.

Everything is fine until last night when my dad goes onto mobile.de and finds brand new cars for 28k euro. He isnt so sure about my friends car. The thing is i think these cars are unoptioned and very difficult to sell..

Basically is 30k euro a good price for my friends car,

thanks very much

30k is well overpriced once you counter intial depreciation. Options aren't really worth much on resale and you can shop around and find new, fully specced one's easily for under 30k.

Only kidding ;-) Sounds like you'd made your mind up before you posted. Enjoy and have fun :-) Even if you did pay a couple of thosuand euros over the top it wouldn't matter.... you have it in your paws now and are enjoying it :-)
