Well it looks like the TVR isn't going to make the trackday I've got booked for Monday
So that leaves the big blue Golf to get a hooning. driving
Now I can't say I've been overly impressed with the ride and handling of the Mk4 1.8T especially sitting on 18's with the worlds cheepest tyres fitted to all but one corner (it's how it was when I bought it, don't blame me) paperbag
So has anyone ventured onto the track in one of these big heavy slow wallowy crashy riding Euroboxes?
What can I expect, except everyone going past me, and understeer/oversteer in most corners depending on the song playing on the radio (the handling really is that dodgy) rotate

The Golfs a second choice based on this little problem.......

I'll do it the justice of taking out the HUGE sub in the boot but as the TVR might just come good, the Golf might get off. But then saying that I'd just about come round to the idea of giving it a good hooning and was almost looking forward it, if it's raining in the morning the Golf might still get a chance to entertain me. driving
