Painting brake calipers
Discussion
I have just put a new set of wheels on my golf as you can see below and was wondering about painting my brake calipers red as i think they take away from the wheels as they are now. I have seen a few different paints out there and was just wondering if they are any good? Is there any place i can send them to get them done properly or even is there anyone who make a set of stock calipers in red? I have looked at brembo ones but the price is putting me off them. Any help would be greatly apreciated
Thanks

The best way to do it is to take them off completely mask them up carefully and paint with High temp brake caliper paint. Even better have them powder coated.
You can paint them in situ but it is hard to do well and you run the risk of getting paint in bleed nipple threads or behind the seals...
(Halfrauds sell the paint)
Cheers,
Steve
