Does anyone know if it is possible to fit memory on electric seats?

Not sure about a retro-fit - the cost option when new is about an extra £750 over and above standard electric - also controls exterior mirror positions and the like. Have never heard of it being done. Sorry - know how frustrating it can be to get the seat just right again after it's been moved - like so many things in this life, convenience and comfort cost a lot!

All the best

I was wondering about the same thing for my S4 Avant. It's easier to relocate a seat when you only have a certain number of "notches" to choose from, the electric controls give an infinite number of positions!

I guess it depends on whether the cabling is fitted between the seats and the driver's door where the memory controls would be fitted. Also whether the seats come ready fitted with position sensors.

If it's just cabling then I wouldn't imagine it would be too expensive but judging by the extra cost when new I suspect that the seats themselves may require modification to add position sensors.

Best bet is to ask Audi - I reckon it's £££££'s

I am going to make a template so that I can put the seat back into required position. Audi won't do it they said just the module would be £750 so its a cardboard template then make an ally one at work

That is annoying, I think electric seats are pretty useless without the memory function.

Made a template from a old shoebox works really well but I agree electric seats without memory are useless (memory seats in my 5 series are brilliant)
