Hi All,

Considering changing my car.... Does any one have any idea what mine is worth?

1994 L Reg Golf Mk3 1.8CL in black, 5 door, 138k miles, good condition but needs a new windscreen (which i could sort on my insurance).

2 sets of tyres etc (1 set of 15" alloys with Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 and one normal set of wheels and tyres, Nokia handsfree and Sony CD Headunit.

2 of the Goodyears are running low but the other 2 are almost new.

MOT until December and Taxed until June 2007.

What sort of price should I be trying to get? Hopefully getting a new car by the end of the month.

Looking to get rid of by the end of the month, i've done 42k in 26 months without any problems (See my profile for more details)

Thanks,

Phill

Is that trade in or private?

If its that bad I won't bother doing a couple of odd jobs that need doing on it as it won't be worth it!

Probably not too far away for trade and private, might sneak upto £400 private if you present it well.

Put a full MOT on it if you can, punters always like a full MOT.

The plan this weekend is to give it a full wash and was (Weather depending), take the alloys off and put the old wheels on ready for winter.

Need to get a indicator cover that I lost the other week and maybe get the windscreen sorted.

Oh well whatever I get for it will be a bonus, its served me well. I just can't wait until I get my new one!
