I think they already have a 12-18 month order book but these can collapse quickly if the used market is not very strong. I seem to recall it is 500 cars pa for the UK.

Loretta here. I'm at Bexley Audi (020 8301 3050). We glady look after you from here although your profile doesn't give much away so don't know where in the country you are based?
We have taken a few deposits for the R8 so far. We don't know what our allocation will be as yet so not too sure on delivery dates yet... May/June next year has been mentioned though...
