Time for an oil change and thinking of going to APS. Went to AmD last year but they have a 2 month lead time on servicing at the moment!

Has anyone used them and what do you think?

I used them to fit Cruise Control and whilst I made the trip they did oil and filter change as well. Cant recommend them highly enough. They know a lot about VW group products and if youre like me and want to get underneath to have a look round they will answer any questions and check things if you want. Just wish I lived closer.

I live in London but often drive to see the in-laws in Coventry so it's not too much of a detour. They are asking £120+VAT vs £190 inc VAT for my Local Audi Stealer so it's probably worth a trip to save £50.

I think APS was set up by several ex-staff of AMD who becam disillusioned with things there.

Fold over on TSN all give good reviews.

Yip, top blokes, get lizard thumbs up, worked on both my VW van & track Golf.

If you use AmD :spit: I will have to stab you with a rusty fork tho.

I used AmD last year but now Ed and the gang have split to form APS I would certainly consider going there instead. £140 does seem a lot for an oil change though!

Oil and filter change...

AmD - £155 + VAT
APS - £87 + VAT + second to none customer service.

I can't fault the service I got from AmD last year but APS were truely first class and their prices are excellent. I can't recommend them highly enough. Ed it a top bloke.

I'm off there on friday for a fair bit of suspension work on my S3 so I can report from there on their wireless connection and let you know, but I have to say I've not read a bad thing about them anywhere. They also won the Audi Driver award for service or somthing in their first year so can't be too bad.
