any of the above depending on price/location

generally 500bhp is a remap
510-530bhp is same + full exhausts and £3K up

after that its very expensive

remap is best bang for buck and keeps it quiet/discreet - add exhausts if you want some more noise too.,

So….. It’s done, my first AMD experience out of the way…..
I was a little late getting to Bicester due to taking Mrs.K and K jnr along ( just after 9am) and they were nice enough to drop us at the Village for what was going to take about 2 hours.
Just over an hour later I had a call to say that I had an air leak from one of the turbos, it had blown some clips off, there was a bit of oil sloshing around they were not sure if it had already been remapped as it was quick. Also the software was different and it had an odd ecu. It was going to take bit longer and they’d call back. (They shut at 1pm on a Saturday) I asked about why these things were not picked up in the large service I’d just had and was told that if the machine they plug it into doesn’t pick it up then it goes unnoticed… Encouraging main dealer stuff I thought and also engaged my brain into mild panic mode…
Anyway, to cut a long story short…Many phone calls and 7, yes 7 hours later it was ready. I had been in every shop in Bicester Village at least twice and was wondering then if the extra garage time would outweigh the extra stuff my wife had bought.
I apologised for keeping everyone on for the afternoon but I have to credit them with being so professional as they have transformed the car. I’d say it’s worth doing for the gearbox remap alone. The change down is so quick and smooth now it’s unbelievable.
The rolling road printout shows a gain of about 56bhp and 74Lb ft toque and you really do notice it mid range. They had also fixed all the other stuff that wasn’t picked up in the service.
So in conclusion, anyone who is thinking of having this done, just do it, it’s fantastic and you could do a lot worse than visiting these guys. Friendly, enthusiastic and thoroughly professional. I’ll be going back for an exhaust in the not too distant future

recently had mine done at AMD and can agree - the gearbox remap is the best bit ...the extra power is noticeable in they way it kicks in and the engine revs more freely - running 503bhp and 508lb/ft, but the torque curve is virtuall flat from 2K rev up to 6k revs not dropping below 460lb/ft ish...and thats what feels great - dyno-plot here :

www.dyno-plot.co.uk/dyno/dynoplot/id%3D342%26but_sea%3Dqs/Audi-RS6-AMD.htm

the graphs a bit jerky after I digitised it, but you get the idea
