Audi/VW specialist in Durham area
Discussion
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good Audi specialist in the Durham area as i need to replace some brake pads on my A4. Alternatively, i guess if anyone could just recommend a good garage to get it done at, would it need to be done at a specialist?
Also, would you buy the pads and get the garage to fit them, or just get the garage to order the pads and fit them?
Any advice will be appreciated (other than someone telling me to do it myself, my mechanical ability stretches about as far as making a Lego model!)
Cheers,
Paul

Thanks chaps i'll bear in mind for the future.
I only got the car 3 months ago, done 3k miles, and the pads were worn so much that the brake wear indicator light came on, so rang the Audi dealer i bought it from, and complained that they shouldn't have worn in that space of time if it had been properly inspected before sale. They agreed and replaced the pads free of charge. They even kept the pads they took off it, to investigate why it hadn't been properly PDI'd in the first place.
Can't fault them for putting it right, they did it straight away, but i am p'd off that they didn't sort the car properly in the first place. Given that they failed to pick up a chip in the windscreen too, i'm starting to wonder what else they missed!
