It seems that the TT is a lot more responsive on a cold day than a hot one. Therefore it looks to me like it needs a bit more cold air getting in!

When I had my old Fiat Coupe 20VT, I had a drilled air box and after-market filter which gave me a bit more power and more consistency. Some other people had cold air feeds coming in from the front of the car and found this gave them more power still.

Has anyone does this on a TT? Initial research leads me to believe that I would need to fit an induction kit and put the cold air feed on that. I want to avoid the induction kit because of the extra noise.

What are people's thoughts?

cheers

My thought is that this mod would probably make a lot more difference on a turbocharged TT compared to a 3.2 V6 NA one.

Edited to say take a look at www.wak-tt.com (or something like that - he's one of the mods over on www.tt-forum.co.uk)
