The missus wants a golf again and I reakon this little beast will be nippy enough, won't tell her about the supercharger and turbo .. DSG gearbox and extras take it to £22K before a hefty 10% discount from drivethedeal
I want 40 mpg sub 9 sec 0-60 auto have I missed anything

Is it worth compromising on a few things?
Can be picked up more or less new (without DSG though) for @ £17k

I know they won't do 40mpg but they make up for it by cracking 60 in a lot less than 9secs!
