Has anyone bought one of these devices www.mybluefin.co.uk/ for a 2.0 TDI 140 VW Group engine? I was wondering what sort of real world gains I would get and if it does 'what it says on the tin', and worth the £600? Also if people noticed they were getting considerably worse fuel consumption, or 'smoking' due to the re-map that it provides. I can imagine the wheel spin is an issue, wet traction will be a bit of a challenge and that the ESP computer will have much more work to do balancing the 400 NM of torque.

If you want to come to south wales i can do it for £450, dont bother with a flashy gadget, how many times are you going to turn it off? And you'd be pretty miffed the day you need the power to overtake but you have to pull over and stop and go through the procedures

Pretty much most of the big companies use the same maps anyway.

It's a company car, so will need to put the old map back on for each service and when I return the car. This is why it looked like a good gadget to me.
