2003 A8- Bluetooth phone volume

Hi there, I have a 2003 A8 4.2 Quattro which is a great car (when I can prize it away from my Mrs...)

However, it has the bluetooth phone, and it rings and speaks on hands-free at a very high volume. It is actually quite startling when it rings. I cannot seem to turn it down, despite turning down the phone volume in "volume settings"

Can anyone advise me how to turn it down?
