Selling my Polo GTI, need diesel - suggestions?

Need to move on from my much loved GTI. Have been looking at the slighly newer 9N (Mk6) Polo models, with the 1.9 PD100 TDI motor. May then remap that - have heard a result of 140bhp and 230 lb/ft could be achievable. That would lessen the blow of moving to the darkside!

Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions? Budget isn't massive at 5500-6000 and ideally needs to have less than 60k on the clock, so I know it's got some life left in it as I could have it 3yrs+. Would prefer to stick to the VAG stable, but I remain open-minded.

If you can live with the sticker i'm sure you could find Skoda Fabia VRS's for 6k ish

Its based on the polo chassis, VAG 130pd engine

Thoroughly enjoyed my ownership, but I needed to free up some cash so it had to go. The cheapest around are above 7k. They hold their value better than the corresponding VW!
