posting this on behalf of a friend....is selling his modified TT cos he's moving to Canada (alright for some)

details at www.tt-forum.co.uk/ttforumbbs/viewtopic.php?t=65854

(have been in car with him and he's a very good driver and very mechanically sympathetic. I would have no worries about buying from him that's for sure)

Evening all....
New price on the TTOC forum - 11.5k, but I'm taking offers too.....
This is a top car & I've loved every minute of owning it - she's got about £4k of mods on her (~12 months old) and is currently running around 280bph.
Really worth a look if you want a daily driver that will also give you a bit of fun around the lanes!
Hope I can find it a good home - I'm gutted to sell
Thanks to nightmare for putting the details up...........

Better price now. The mileage is an issue - not that the car is worn out, but because there are so many similar cars out there to choose from. You need to work out what you'd get p/ex (less that you'd expect) and what dealers sell for an price halfway inbetween - you're still 'making' money. Also, offer to get a warranty with the sale - only a few hundred quid for a basic one and it may put minds at rest.

We have a 2000 W TTC 225. Completely standard with comps/BOSE etc. It will go up for sale later in August and I expect to sell it for £10k or just above. Delaer p-ex would be 8.5-9k I think.
