Smelly S4!

I'm getting the most horrendous smell whenever I first start the car. Seems to be something to do with the air con. Smells strongly of cat pee! Any ideas what it could be? I'm thinking possibly that one of the filters needs changing. Cheers.

IIRC Air-con systems need regular maintainance with anti-bacterial treatments to prevent what you might be experiencing. Maybe call out an air-con specialist to get it de-lurgied?

get some Forte Air-Con treatment to kill all the fungus in the system,

Have you refilled your screen wash recentlty, I had this with my TT when i topped up the screen wash with a different brand, it reacted and produced the most pungent smell ....strange but true

Get down to halfords and get an a/c treatment. you put the a/c on full,the fans on max with re-circ,and then set this can off like a grenade in the car. it does the trick proper job!

Funnyily enough, that's exactly what I did in the end as the Forte stuff that I ordered on the internet failed to turn up. Seems to have done the job.
