brakes on a mk5 golf

recently bought a mk5 golf gti and whilst i am happy with most of the car, i feel the brakes could be a little better. anyone know about brake upgrades for these cars? if i wanted to get some big brembos on them what would be the issues?

MK5 I don't know about, but I'd hazard a guess that Rally Design will mate.

Rob- not really up on Mk5s but big red Brembos from GT3 monoblocks or older type split calipers off 993t are common place on Mk4s & Audi S3s/S4s etc.

Maybe give www.autops.co.uk a call & tell em I sent ya, im sure they can offer some pointers.
