Audi S & RS in Luzern Switzerland

Same deal when I was in Villars in the mountains above Geneva. I assume it's to make getting about easier. If you live 5 miles up a hairpin-strewn mountain road you want something with a bit of grunt to make it as effortless as possible. In the winter the Quattro is invaluable - you wouldn't get anywhere without it and a set of winter tyres / snow chains. Given the amazing roads, there's also a lot of fun to be had!
Keep your eyes peeled - you'll notice a lot of BMW's with 4wd too. Look out for cars with an X on the back, eg 330x.

I'll do that, but like mine, most of the cars have their badges taken off.
