The title says it all really. Ihave just traded in my lovely S3 for an A6 4.2q Tip Avant. Should I let the engine / box warm before setting off?
Obviously I could read the manual, but being a bloke I find myself unable to read instructions.

I think not. It should be driven straight away and everything warms up at the same rate. If you were supposed to warm it up it would say in BIG red letters everywhere. John

No need to warm up, but it's always a good idea not to thrash it until the engine is fully up to operating temp, which can take 15 mins.
