Audi A4 Servicing tips

Can anybody advise details of what is done on an oil service for a 1997 A4 1.8? I have tried searcing the web for details of the service schedule but can't find anything. I'm not up for paying main stealer prices so want to do this myself. Also if anyone can advise how to get the service computer re-set. Many thanks,

Oil service is simply just oil and filter change. Not sure about the reset. I just had an oil service on my A6 at Fontain's in Iver - £80ish inc.

OK, I wasn't sure if plugs / air filter got changed on an oil service. Any tips on what oil is recommended?
