...are becoming very unsightly especially on the polished outer rim due to corrosion.
I was quoted £85 per wheel to refurb but that seems extortionate to me.
Can anyone give a guide as to how much i should be paying to have them refurbed? If £85 is a fair price, i may as well buy a new set of wheels and tyres (although BBS rims will not fall into that budget).

I have looked into getting my old BBS RA's done on my valver and that is looking like £30 - £50 per wheel for just a bead blast, powder coat and lacquer. I would suspect that to be about right as those wheels have the polished rim. Definitely worth doing IMO. Would bring your car back up to looking new and if you look after the wheels they should last years. ( You will have to wash the wheels every week though...

I might be interested in buying a set of alloys for the Passat if you think it works out cheaper for you to switch... I wouldn't really care if they're scuffed as long as they still do the job - it's only the daily hack after all. (Need to see what my finances are like after the next week or two of toy buying first, though).
