All.. will be getting a nice mint Lupo diesel next week with saucy factory fit leather. Nice !
Can anyone recommend a VW specialist (not VW themselves though as on a tight budget at the mo) ?
The last service was donr by a VW guy but after hours, not worried about the lack of VW stamp but what is a shame is that he could reset the 'service INSP' readout on the LCD.. would be great if whoever is local can manage this too

This is done by turning the ignition on and off and pressing buttons on the dash, but I forget the order. I guess someone will be along shortly to tell you. If not ask in general gassing. John

Think this should be in the manual. Know it is on the Passat...
