Loose Subframe A3 Sportback

Hi All
I have a 2004 A3 2.0 TDI Sport Sportback, which went back to the dealers today as I was getting a clanking noise on acceleration/braking/cornering from the front when the car was hot.
Their diagnosis (and so far seems OK) was that one of the subframe bolts was coming loose. They thought from new....(car had the "new" flywheel fitted as part of the recall a few weeks ago)
For some reason the thought of bolts holding the most significant part of the car together coming loose scares me stiff
- anyone else had this?

I should take would be appreciated.
