So ...... update your profile then.

As an aside, the time stamp at the head of this post reads 06:04 yet when viewed in the 'What's New' view it shows the time as 18:04. You haven't got a 12 hour/24 hour clock problem have you?

Yep. S4 has replaced the Cerbera as our sensible family transport. Alpina for getting me around

That looks like Fontain. I was there a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't make up my mind to go for an S6 and have some fun or an AllRoad and have some range. Still can't decide.

The choice there is a bit bewildering really. I couldn't decide whether to wear my sensible hat or my PH hat Mrs Ted decided for me

Think it is Atlas grey.

Yep, between me and Mrs Ted we've logged 15 years in TVRs. I'm sure we'll be back. How's my S4 doing?

Bugger. I was looking at one of those as a practical companion for the Tuscan. Now I can't buy one without looking like one of Ted's groupies

p.s. It looks fab - keep us posted with good news about surprisingly affordable running costs...

The nice thing is that after a Cerbera most cars' running costs seem reasonable.

Basic servicing schedule is 2 years/15K by the looks of it which is handy.

What about a 2.7T manual Allroad? I'm thinking of getting one. Can be chipped to 300bhp and was no particular slouch to start with. Plus can go places an A6 can't and looks cooler.

Anyway, S4. Nice choice. When I had an S3, I never dared leave it the full 19k/2yrs between services but probably it doesn't matter as much with a normally aspirated engine (I am right in thinking the 4.2 S4 is not forced induction??)

Thought of those, and the V8 AllRoad but I really need range, and the 2.7T and V8 AllRoads are thirsty as hell - so a diesel beckons. I'll have to sell my beloved 100S4 though
