She wants to spend about £5k. I have advised either a golf or Audi A3. I will be sourcing and buying it for her. (she supplies the readies
).
Can anyone let me know if they have seen many Auto Golf's or Audi A3's? Everywhere I look they seem to be manual with the only Auto golfs being 1.6's which too me seems would be rather gutless in a MK4 Golf. Has anyone ever driven one and could advise me differently?
Where do you buy Automatic cars for old ladies?

Why not try your local car auction, if you go when there's a Motobility sale on.......loads of Automatics most with low miles and sevice history,in your price range as well.
Lots of VAG cars to chose from etc.....skoda,seat,VW and audi.
This is certainly the case up here in Aberdeen, but could be diferent over the border!
