Should I buy Audi S3 with high mileage?
Discussion
Any modern mass-produced car should be good for 200k with the correct, regular servicing.
However the S3 has more to go wrong than most - plenty of technology, turbo'd and 4wd.
When was the cambelt replaced? Audi say 80k, but most recommend 60k, so you could be looking at you next cambelt service imminently. It will also be due a Haldex oil & filter change (every 40k).
My S3 has done just short of 80k and still feels like new, but things do wear out. The S3 is a heavy car, so shocks, springs etc may be getting tired.
If it is priced keenly enough, and backed up by a full history then I wouldn't let the mileage worry me.

Very well said! I would add that there is no way it should be on the variable servicing especially at that milleage, there are things that go wrong but most are cheap, coilpacks / airflow sensors etc.
I've probably had the worse ownership experience of anyone with an S3 and I still love mine, if you've got any specific questions let me know, I would also make sure you drive it as I've heard there is a big difference (I wouldn't know as I've only driven mine).
Might be an idea to have a look over on www.audi-sport.net or tyresmoke too.
