In the Menu options on the 6 you can set the speed indicator warning to beep at whatwever you want. Therefore I set it to 90mph but found that the speedo is reading 100 when it cuts in and beeps.
I understand that speedo can be out but I'm surprised that the digital reading is different.

Mine is set for I think 95mph so it goes "ping" just after the needle hits 100, I'm sure I've read somewhere it give a tollerance of about 10km/hr before it tells you you have exeeded your set point.

I've had a few trips back to the dealer to get this 'fixed' but in the end, all they say is they cannot adjust it and there is nothing they can or will do.

IIRC the computer is more accurate than the speedo, hence the warning going off at the actual speed rather than that of the speedo.

On my S2 if you reset the average speed trip whilst doing a steady 100mph the computer will tell you you are actually doing 97....
