Would appreciate some advice re Corrados.

Have been offered a 1989 16v Corrado for £1400. The car has had a hard life, the odometer stopped working at 140,000 miles, it has had another 20k put on it since then. Having said that it has had a full respray, new wings and doors,it has a years tax and MOT on it, original alloys. Not exactly in concours condition but has had a lot of money spent on it and there are a lot of reciepts available. Is £1400 a good price (ballpark)? Would I be able to sell this on say 6 months down the line?

Your help is much appreciated.

Regards
G

Seems a little expensive to me, from it's description it sounds like it's had a fair amount of work done but I wouldn't give more than £1,000

What davevag said.

£1400 would be a fair price for a mildy moody VR6. For a valver it's a little on the steep side IMO.

Hi Guys

Ive just paid £2200 for a 77k 94 M Reg 2.0 16v, 2 Owners from New with FSH (every 12mths) all old MOT's, Owned by a Mature Doctor for the last 9yrs.

Going to spend approx £300 on front end paintwork (lots of chips, common to Rados due to low front and waterbased paints!) and about another £200 on minor refurb to alloys, new badges etc to make a pretty mint car

I notice a few sub 100k 2.0 16v's around on Autotrader and PH classifieds at well over £3k.... hope they get that for them!!!
