Audi Avant Tow-Bar

Has anybody had a towbar fitted to their 2005/06 A4 Avant, every company I have phoned around Southampton have said 'oh we don't have them for the new model, as the electrics are a pain in ar$e'. Without the towbar it will be no racing for me this season, please don't say get an Audi one as they want £1500

I am sure they will want stupid money just for the kit, but will give it a try. I need to get sorted or the race car will be sitting in the garage, with its new engine doing nothing

I had the same problem (being based in Bath) so drove up to them one Saturday morning. Fortunately I have friends near there so could combine it with a trip to see them. I guess it depends how desperately you want it..

Really desperately, they do have one in Swindon, looks like I may having a day out to Swindon

Bit of a hike, but these guys gave me a good price last year when I looked into it for my S4. It invalidated my extended warranty so didn't go for it at the time.
