Well after a 350mile round trip I became the owner of a VW once again after a 10yr absense!

She's a 94 M Corrado 2.0 16v in Dragon Green Metallic, Light Grey Cloth, 2 Owners from new (last one 9yrs!), Full Service History (11 Stamps! Plus Bills) a mere 77k Miles, 4 virtually new Goodyear Tyres, recent front & Rear discs & Big service, all the electrics work (sunroof, spoiler, fan etc)

Not a VR6 I know, but very spankable!

Question is what do our Corrado Experts think shes worth? *think* I've bought well, but interested in your thoughts!

Not a Corrado expert but being a late one with decent mileage worth about £2k?

Just a guess really.

Did you get it from Fleabay?

Odd non standard alloys on there - off a cheapo Mk3 Golf Match if my geekness proves right...

The 2.0 16v alloys look very nice, it would be worth trying to find a set - an original Corrado will fetch a little more come resale...

Otherwise a nice car - congrats

No mate, that was my first thought re the wheels, but looking around all the M reg and later cars were fitted with these

Heres another!

Like you I thought they had the flat faced polished wheels, but It would appear that was just 92/93 cars

Very nice but you need to sort out that 4x4 ride height.

Congrats mustard! Welcome back to the fold

Don't worry, I shan't tell them how much you paid for her

I think that the rear end would look mighty fine a little lower slung too

Well first impressions.....

1. Feels so tight and solid, hard to believe its 12yrs old, drives like a much newer car

2. I think the handling might have the edge on the Elan (they always said the 16v's were better balanced than the VR6's )

nice!! You've done really well with the paint work. It looks as though you've put in some effort there!!

I always liked the Corrado and would have one as a fourth car if I could just get two mk1 GTi's and the space to store them!!!
