A done deal on that red UR 20v i've been hunting for. It's over a year since I sold my WR, so I cant wait!!

I went down to Newcastle to look at it......so another red 20v heads for Aberedeenshire, but not till next month...shame.

Congratulations! Please post some pics when you get it. You just can't post too many pictures of those

Forgive my ignorance but what's the difference between the WR and the UR? What does UR stand for anyway? Always wondered!

PS Congratulations, very very nice car

WR is the engine code. 5 cylinder 2144cc,86.4mm stroke, 81.00 bore, turbo charged, k-jetronic orgasm machine.

"UR" if the german name for "original" which is the part of the "UR"Quattro name.

I love em.

I've got one parked outside and I still spend ages looking at pics of them, and trying to figure out how to get my hands on a WR. I'd have a barn full if I had... a barn. And the necessary cash.

Congrats.. not easy car to find.. took me months to help my brother get a good one. Having not had a quattro for a few years I couldn't resist either.. one day I'll realise there's no point selling it as I'll only buy another

You lucky man. I still miss my MB 10v. I hope it's still going strong. They are getting rare these days. Im getting all nostalgic.

Quattro Owners Club bash at Silverstone back in 2000 (I think).
