Hello all,
found what looks like a kewl helpful forum here.
Just bought my self a Golf Mk 4 SDI 1.9 T reg diesel and just wanted to ask u clever people some general advice about this car..
any maintenance tips? common problems with this model etc,,
im a beginner mechanic and learning lots just from looking around on here, any help appreciated

You bought an SDI .... only one comment here... economy is gonna be good, but your gonna wonder why all the other Diesel golfs leave you for dead!.

On the plus side its well built and nice inside.
You could always put a TDi engine in it

Er dude, this site was never set up to be a repositry of information about maintenance.
However it is full of people who do know where to find the information. If you have an issue with any advertising feel free to use the Report Abuse button, however, as a mod, I've got no problems with any of the links here and to be brutally honest I welcome it.
