Hi All,
Not what your thinking !
The 52-reg TDI passat I purchased for my dad seems to have sprung a leak?!
Bassically with the wet weather later, the back passenger foot-well is very damp with water!
Could this just be a missing grommet/seal ?
Where should I start to investigate?
Cheers

This is really common on Passats. Same thing happened to Mrs Mook's car.
Above the bulkhead (where the battery lives) there is a drain hole, which always gets bunged up with leaves etc. To check if this is the problem, lift the plastic cover up and see if there's a pool of water.
Best way to fix it is to get the car on a ramp and poke a very long thin poking stick up to clear it out. I got my VW specialist to do this...
