Q7 - what are the residuals going to be like?

I've got an early Q7 coming which I may only keep for a year or so. Anyone got any thoughts on what the residuals will be like and what options are needed etc for easy, cost effective, resale? Thanks

I guess you'll lose whatever you've spent on extras and a bit more

Indeed but as with most Audis' the standard spec is not that great; eg metallic and Xenons are extra even though a diesel S Line lists at over £40k.

I'd buy a 6 month old X5 when the new one comes out

I'd expect to take a big hit. It's a car with limited appeal being soooo huge and supply won't be a problem in 6/9/12 months I suspect.

I agree with the cautious approach but dealers appear to be sold out and it could prove to be 'the' car to have in M25 land before the new X5 arrives nearly a year later.
