Audi S3 turbo modifications

The turbo on my S3 has blown and I need a new one. I was just wondering if anyone nows of a better turbo than the standard KKK one that has come off the car that is more robust and gives the car more power?

An IHI big turbo conversion will give you a lot more power and a rather large smile!

How much do you want to spend... remember if you're changing away from K04 it won't bolt straight on, but do check out the eliminator turbos for a compromise :-)

Yep I'd second this, if your looking for a simple(ish) bolt on turbo this is the only real option!

I think Jabba have the most experience in big turbo conversions if your going down this route, but just be aware there will be a lot more cost than just the turbo itself such as larger injectors / custom downpipes / custom remap for the new turbo etc. It's also worth giving www.amdtechnik.co.uk a look. I would say for a proper big turbo install on an S3 you're looking at £3-5k minimum - there are loads of owners over on www.audi-sport.net so it might be worth a read.

I have (what is currently) a MTM big turbo on my TT, but I'm looking at getting MRC to replace this with something bigger now I'm up to 2.1l :-)
