User manual for VW Passat?

Hi all!

My dad has just aquired a VW Passat 1.9TDi 2004 and doesnt have a clue how to work the thing! He cannot suss out half of the buttons inside, and cant find buttons he wants! I would try and help him but I live 300miles away! Does anyone have any idea where I can find a user manual/guide for him online? Any downloads or orders?

Has'nt he got the owners manual? or can't he find it in the car? If it's the brand new model with the handbrake "button" the manual is in a pull down pocket in the top of the glove box. There is a little pull strap with a picture of a book on it. John

I dont think it is brand new as it is an 04 registration plate, although I will get him to check the glove as you said- thanks

I got him to check and it definitely doesnt have the pocket in the glove unfortunately
