Does anyone know if 18" Audi alloys would fit onto a mk3 or mk4 Golf?

I could get a set of 4 18 inch Audi TT Cross spoke wheels from someone, and so I was wondering if they would have the right stud pattern to fit a VW Golf, and if the offsets etc would be right?

I belive MK4 golf should be fine as they should all be 100 x 5 like the A3 / S3 not sure about the MK3 though, hope that helps.

I believe they go on fine, as I've seen TT Comp wheels on both Mk3's and Mk4's.

If 18" on Mk3, check your clearance and width, as you'd not want to be ruining your expensive tyres everytime your amtes ride with you!!!

In a word No,
You may see a lot of VW's rolling around on what look like Audi wheels, (just like mine ) thing is they aren't, they are 'aftermarket' replicas, type in VW RS4 alloy into eBay and see the amount for sale, the replicas are 'double drilled' so they actually fit VW's (5x110 PCD) and Audis (5x112 PCD) and the offset is quite critical if you want the rims to sit right in the arches.
So from that it's a safe bet that original Audi rims aren't going to be a simple swap on to any Golf, although a quick look at the VW tuning world will tell you anything is possible with enough time and effort
